Shipping
Orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. We ship to the Contiguous US only with the exclusion of Alaska and Hawaii.
Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx within 5 business days of the order being in stock and processed.
US shipping only. We do not ship internationally at this time. All orders shipped to a North Carolina address are subject to a sales, county and municipal tax. Please note that we don't ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays.
We try our absolute best to ensure that the product images used on our site flawlessly depict the colors and nuances of each original piece. However, computer monitors and lighting vary, and we cannot guarantee that the images on your screen are a perfect portrayal of the real thing.
Indie House is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages/items. All orders are sent USPS, UPS, and FedEx with tracking unless otherwise noted. After the package is picked up at our studio, tracking is the responsibility of the purchaser.
In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, some packages may be shipped using recycled materials. If your package comes in a gently used box or with recycled newspaper it’s because we love our planet! We hope you don’t mind. :)
Tracking info will be emailed after the orders are dispatched. In stock items are typically delivered within 10-15 business days. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to check stock and delivery times.

Returns
Please be advised that certain items are non-returnable. Non-returnable items include: Custom pieces/orders Clearance items Gift cards. Please, e-mail julie@indiehousedesign.com for return address and specific instructions. Returns are accepted within 15 days of the shipment date for a full refund, less the original shipping cost. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.
To be eligible for a refund, the item(s) must be returned unused, in its original packaging and in the same great condition it left our studio in. The original invoice must also be included with the returned item(s).
For the return of item(s) over $75 in value, shipping insurance is recommended. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item(s). Upon receipt and approval of the return, a refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied via the original method of payment.
Damage
We do our very best to ensure sturdy and safe packaging of all of our pieces, but in the unfortunate case an item would arrive broken or damaged, a clear photo of the damaged good must be sent via email to julie@indiehousedesign.com within 3 days of receipt. We will replace most items damaged in shipping at no charge to you. If we need the damaged item(s) returned to us, the instructions for return or exchange of the damaged good will be provided to you in a reply email. Occasionally, we will not need the damaged item back and we ask that you donate it, if it is still in usable condition. Indie House has the right to deny a return at any time. The Return Policy is subject to change at any time without notice.
